Oscar Alfaro is a senior ATM expert at EUROCONTROL. He graduated with a masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University. He joined EUROCONTROL in 2008 and the Aviation Intelligence Unit in 2018. Since 2023, he runs the Data & Digital Products department responsible for the delivery of data-driven analysis and products for the benefit of aviation stakeholders. He is based at EUROCONTROL headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

Charlotte is also a versatile training actress at Dyami Academy, bringing experience and creativity to the realm of security and awareness improvement. With a strong foundation in theater and a background as a director of theater shows, Charlotte seamlessly blends her theatrical and educational talents with her commitment to enhancing security awareness across diverse organizations, including the aviation sector, businesses, and NGOs.

Since November 2021 is responsible for the EASA team dealing with Cybersecurity in Aviation, which includes rulemaking, information sharing, threats identification, capacity building and research. In addition, Security and Conflict Zones are also under his responsibility.

He joined EASA in 2007 as Standardisation Team Leader in Airworthiness, later moving to coordination of the complete process, including Safety Management and in Risk Based Oversight.

As part of his experience, he worked in the industry as technical and quality manager in a regional airline and as general manager in a business operator.

Gian Andrea started in Aviation in 1992 as an airworthiness inspector with the Italian CAA. During the next ten years his activities ranged from airworthiness to maintenance and operations (both helicopters and airplanes) with some involvement in type certification.

Sebastian Ruik Beyhaut, a Board Member at Pike Aviation, brings over 25 years of expertise in private aviation and remote sensing across Latin America and the Caribbean. His academic background includes a MSc, Master in Geo-informatics from The Netherlands and management studies at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. With over 15 years of management experience in various European companies, he made significant contributions to aerial mapping. Sébastien Couturier joined Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris), after graduating from the Sorbonne and obtaining a master's degree in air transport management (IFURTA). He then headed Groupe ADP innovation department, initiating the Innovation Hub program, a multidisciplinary entity reporting to the CEO. In 2019, Sébastien Couturier launched the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) program with the aim of promoting this new mobility service in the Parisian region.

Vincent Incammicia is graduated from the City University of London with an MSc in Air Transport Management. He is currently a candidate for a double doctorate in Business and Administration (DBA) in Strategic Management at the Swiss School of Business and Management and the Eurasian Management and Administration School.

Vincent started his aviation career as an Air Traffic Controller in the Belgian Air Force before joining Virgin Express and then TNT Airways as a flight dispatcher in 1999 before being promoted to head of the flight dispatch department in 2005. In 2008, motivated to join a major air cargo carrier, Cargolux Airlines, he only stepped back from his managerial position for a short period. His passion and continuous willingness for professional improvement allowed him to resume management roles in 2008. Firstly as a manager of the flight dispatch department and then senior manager of the flight operations support department, he served as an integral contributor to the establishment of Cargolux Airlines Flight Operations projects and was committed to designing procedures for the Flight Operations Support department and establishing innovative improvement policies. Since 2019, Vincent has left the air cargo industry to join the business aviation industry as a Nominated Person Ground Operations.

Vincent holds a Flight Dispatcher license from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA). In 2003, he was selected to participate in the partnership between TPG/TNT and the United Nations World Food Program as an Instructor Flight Dispatch, during which he taught the theoretical FAA Private Pilot License and FAA Aircraft Dispatcher License to a multicultural UN flight operations team.

Maxim Ivanov is FCG OPS OCC Manager, whose aviation journey spans nearly 15 years.

Over his career at FCG OPS, Maxim has held various roles, starting as a trainee and working his way up through junior dispatcher, dispatcher, instructor, and quality manager to reach his current position as OCC Manager.

Since 2014, Maxim has been an IATA certified instructor, diligently guiding our FCG OPS dispatch team through training sessions to ensure they consistently perform at their best. Maxim's dedication to education has made a significant impact, particularly in integrating flight dispatcher training into the undergraduate program.

Anant has a previous background in carbon markets research on the EU ETS & North American Carbon Markets: California-Quebec. He takes a keen interest in interpreting market forces and regulations. At Azzera, he leads innovation in the sustainable aviation fuel solutions, designs workflows for the Azzera CELESTE platform, and manages the compliance market solutions for aviation.

David heads the Airline Licensing Department within the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s Consumer & Markets Group.  David is responsible for the grant and management of all UK airline Operating Licences, together with the administration of the UK Foreign Carrier Permits and Third Country Operator (TCO) systems (that allows EU and third country operators access to the UK).

David brings a broad finance and legal background to his role, particularly in relation to the application of the rules surrounding ownership & control, insurance and leasing and setting that policy. He also chairs the CAA’s Illegal Public Transport Steering Group.

Over the years David has also been engaged in managing aspects of the CAA’s response to airline insolvency, such as the Thomas Cook, and in dealing with the issues presented by the Covid pandemic and sanctions .

David is part of the CAA’s EU Exit air service negotiating team leading on airline licensing and Third Country Operator issues, David and his team have been involved in assisting UK Government with their Afghan resettlement flights and other repatriation.

In recent weeks David has helped lead the CAA’s response to protecting UK air ambulance operations.

Louise has over 20 years’ experience in aviation, initially as Cabin Crew and later in Operations and various Nominated Person roles.  Having worked for AOCs in both commercial and corporate operations, Louise has a diverse understanding of the aviation industry with a focus on providing safe outcomes while delivering exceptional service.  Louise is currently CEO of Flypeople Ltd., a CCTO based in Malta, offering consultancy and aircrew training for pilots and cabin crew.

Joao Martins joined Jet Aviation as manager of the company’s FBO in Geneva in March 2014, where he remained until October 2016 when he was appointed general manager of the Jet Aviation Zurich FBO. A 20-year industry veteran, Joao served two years as head of Global Purchasing and Logistics for the VistaJet Group before joining Jet Aviation and more than a decade in various managerial positions for NetJets Europe prior to that.
Since Joao took over his role as general manager, the Zurich FBO has launched dispenser fueling and dedicated de-icing services, and has increased Jet Aviation’s footprint in Zurich with two additional hangars. The FBO further secured IS-BAH Stage 2 Safety Registration. Joao is responsible for Jet Aviation’s operations at ZRH airport to support the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos.
He is a strong advocate for sustainable aviation solutions and collaborated with partners to make Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) available for purchase in Switzerland for the first time during WEF 2020. That same year, he was appointed Vice President Regional FBO Operations Europe in addition to his role as GM Zurich.
In 2021, under Joao’s regional leadership of FBO operations, Jet Aviation partnered with Neste to secure an ongoing supply of SAF for offer at its FBO in Amsterdam. The company also partnered with SkyNRG to broaden access to SAF for customers universally through a Book and Claim service. In 2022, Jet Aviation once again provided physical SAF in Switzerland, in Geneva for EBACE, and Joao was instrumental in bringing physical SAF to Singapore in partnership with Shell. The FBO in Zurich provided SAF via Book & Claim for WEF 2022 and 2023, and physical SAF again in 2024.

I bring a wealth of hands-on experience, having flown over 25,000 hours as a former commercial and business aviation flight attendant. Additionally, I’ve served as an in-flight instructor, auditor, aviation recruiter, and internationally certified trainer. Since 2007, I’ve taught, trained, and mentored future flight attendants. Thousands of my students now work for leading airlines worldwide.

Since 2020, I have proudly held the title of Vice President of Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA). I have a solid foundation of 18 years in Air Traffic Management, my career has been marked by a rich operational involvement in Air Traffic Control, Aeronautical Information Management, and Flight Information Services. My technical acumen extends to ATM ground system maintenance, complemented by significant contributions to SESAR R&D projects, especially in the domain of trajectory-based operations. Currently, I am spearheading the implementation of the CP1 regulation as part of my role with the SESAR Deployment Manager, with a focus on advancing SWIM deployment and leading the European shift towards FF-ICE. This position reflects my deep commitment to elevating air traffic efficiency and driving forward the integration of cutting-edge technologies in Air Traffic Management. Academically, I bring to the table not just my expertise as an Air Traffic Controller but also a strategic perspective gained through an MBA.

Steven joined EUROCONTROL as Head of the ATM Network Operations Division in 2020 working with his team to ensure the delay in Europe’s air traffic network is kept to a minimum whilst pushing for the best trajectories possible.  Steven also leads his Division in Network Manager Operations Centre, Operations Support, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Airports, and Service Evolution. Prior to joining EUROCONTROL, Steven worked as Deputy General Manager for Swanwick Air Traffic Control Centre and in various other roles for the UK’s air navigation service provider NATS for 24 years. Steven is an Air Traffic Controller by training.  

Patrick Müry was born and raised in the he US to Swiss parents.

He moved to Switzerland in January 2013 and started working for Cat Aviation in August 2013 as a flight dispatcher and charter sales.

After successfully completing an FAA to EASA pilot‘s license conversion in 2022, Müry fulfilled his childhood dream of being a commercial pilot and started in October 2022 as first officer on the Falcon 2000LXS for Cat Aviation. 

In addition to his roll as First Officer he has held the position of Sustainability Officer since 2019 and is part of the EBAA S.T.A.R.S. project team. 

Yuri Nadezhdin has worked at FCG OPS for 13 years and is responsible for managing the relationships with customers and suppliers through a range of projects and key account development.

FCG OPS is certified 24/7 OCC offering individual, flexible flight and international trip support solutions, as well as ground handling support within a network of more than 50 airports.

Yuri has made his path in aviation from the role of trainee and junior dispatcher to OCC manager and director of development. He knows operations processes from own extensive experience in each position. His professionalism and ability to find solutions for every situation led him to become a director of development.

Nadezhdin has professional bachelor’s degree in economics and master’s degree in business administration.

Graduated from ENAC (French Civil Aviation University), 12 years of experience in the GNSS field, First working with private companies as an aerospace engineer and then as a Project Manager / Team Leader, Currently working in EUROCONTROL as a Navigation expert. Active member of several WGs dealing with satellite navigation topics, international cooperation and standardisation aspects. Broad knowledge of what is happening in the sector with a special focus on GNSS interferences. In parallel doing an MBA in HEC (Management school of Liège University)

Peter Olexa is the Head of Vendor relations and Data management at Euro Jet, a European and Asian ground support company with its operations control center based out of Prague, Czech Republic.

In this role, he leads a team of aviation professionals that manage a network of ground support suppliers located across the globe. He also oversees a team that manages data regarding airport capabilities as well as changes in global aviation rules and regulations. 

Peter began working in aviation as a 20-year-old passenger and ramp agent at Poprad-Tatry Airport in Eastern Slovakia. He went on to work at EUROCONTROL and Czech Air Traffic Control before joining Euro Jet as an OCC dispatcher in 2017 and the subsequent promotion to his current position in 2019.

Peter is a Professor and PhD candidate at the Czech Technical University in Prague where he specializes in airline diversion optimization, aviation weather, and aircraft operations. He has a Masters in Air Traffic Management from the Technical University of Kosice in Slovakia. He currently lives in Prague, Czech Republic.

Graduated in computer sciences (Paris XI university) and aerospace equipment (Paris IX), Cyrille Rosay is now working as Senior Expert Cybersecurity in Aviation in the Strategy and Safety Management Directorate of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), where he is leading the task force on GNSS resilience, coordinating cybersecurity aspects of the Single European Sky ATM Master Plan, and as technical lead on research dedicated to cybersecurity in aviation.

Before joining EASA in 2006, he was working for the French Defence Agency and has logged around 2000 flight hours as a IFR multi-engines pilot during his time in the French MoD.

Michal Salanda,

a seasoned aviation professional with over 15 years at ABS Jets, currently serves as the OCC Business Development Manager, driving business growth, managing OCC operations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring top-tier customer service.

With several years experience in leading a team of 14 dispatcher in OCC team, Michal seamlessly applies his expertise to managing also his team of three daughters at home.

Sometimes you might meet him in the sky flying a Falcon 2000 or vintage aircraft.

As a board-certified Anesthetist, Intensivist, Emergency Physician, and ICU Flight Physician, Dr. Schmidt has over 16 years of experience in HEMS and ICU long-haul fixed-wing air ambulance transportation. 
In addition to her practical role, she is involved in the training and education of aeromedical professionals.

Her passion is palpable, especially when it comes to patient safety. She champions the necessity of medical guidelines and standards in aeromedical transport medicine, emphasizing the importance of research to develop evidence-based practices up in the air.

Eric worked as a liaison and intelligence officer at the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service - AIVD. After a career of 13 years, he left with the aim of offering unique bespoke security & intelligence services. Eric believes in collaboration and bringing expertise together. After his experiences with the attacks in New York during 9/11, espionage cases, and various terrorist plots and attacks, including the disaster with flight MH17, he established Dyami to ensure that security & intelligence services are made available in an accessible and cost-effective manner.

Ever since he was young, Arthur developed and nourished a passion for aviation which to this day provides him with his greatest source of inspiration. After completing his studies in international Law and Air Transport management, Arthur landed in Brussels where he endeavored to develop a comprehensive data strategy for the European Business Aviation Association. 
 
Over the years, he has overseen the analysis of many different forms of aviation datapoints, working in partnership with many different internal and external stakeholders. 
 
In his role of Market & Business Intelligence Manager, Arthur Thomas is perhaps one of the industries’ leading experts on business aviation and it’s impact on society and communities. Outside of his work in Business Aviation, Arthur is also official “air and space painter” in the French Air Forces.

George Tucker is Satcom Direct’s Business Development Director for Europe.  In this role, he is responsible for managing clients across the region, supported by dedicated technical teams in Basel Switzerland and Farnborough UK, as well as the US.

George is focused on developing Satcom Direct’s customer portfolio and building new partnerships. In addition to introducing established and new hardware and software solutions and services to the region’s connectivity-hungry market, he is responsible for ensuring the continued delivery of Satcom Direct’s award-winning customer 24/7 support.

With over 10 years’ experience in business aviation, George brings valuable insight and expertise on the delivery of the optimum customer experience and efficient flight operations.  

A Franco-Belgian citizen, Max has gathered 15 years of experience in the transportation industry internationally. 
 

As an Oliver Wyman consultant he has led strategy and operations projects in the world of air, maritime and ground transportation.

His best memories include his role in the $1B fleet renewal programme for the NYC subway ; optimising the workflow inside a helicopter maintenance facility ; and designing a modern-day “silk road” to carry goods on rails from China to Europe. 

All of which have satisfied Max’s appetite for making things lean and efficient.

Max has then experienced transportation “from within” as a senior manager at Eurostar — the high-speed train service connecting London with Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam. 

He looked after the operations (fleet, crew and stations) where the challenge was to make the best use of resources to support the commercial activity.

In 2021, Max co-founded RISE to address the specific needs of business aviation operators. 

Their core solution, OptiriseTM, helps operators optimise their fleet schedules, thereby generating significant savings in costs and CO2. 

On the side, Max enjoys the outdoors and he is the manager of a solar power plant.

Jonathan leads Neste’s Renewable Aviation business for the Europe/Middle East & Africa region. Jonathan is responsible for all activities relating to the sale and supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and related sustainability offers, investments and business development. The role also covers engagement with government authorities and policy makers on regulatory matters, to help accelerate the use of SAF and support the aviation industry on its path to reduce emissions.

Jonathan has extensive experience in renewables and the energy industry, in senior leadership positions in Downstream businesses, responsible for commercial, business development, M&A, strategy, marketing and operational activities. The last 10 years Jonathan has focused on the aviation fuel business.

Jonathan graduated in Economics from London University, and completed an Executive MBA programme at Harvard Business School.

Małgorzata Woźniak, Certification & Enrollment Manager at PnrGo, brings to the table her expertise in API and PNR requirements around the world.

Since 2020, she has been acting as the advocate for General Aviation operators – communicating with Passenger Information Units (PIUs) and Border Guards to negotiate the necessary adjustments in PAX and CREW data transfer processes that are often set up with big commercial airlines in mind, and then extended onto GA. Working with around 70 local agencies responsible for API and PNR data collection (across Europe, America, Asia, Middle East, and Australia) she helps to raise awareness of the character and specificities of Business Aviation in the official circles.

On a daily basis, she also accompanies BA operators in the formal registration and country enrollment process that constitutes the first necessary step towards legal compliance.

Her academic background includes an MSc in Aviation and Cosmonautics as well as a practical and theoretical Flight Dispatch course. On top of that, she can glide through the skies in a sailplane just as easily as she glides through the maze of modern PAX and CREW data regulations.

Maciej Zych advises clients from the aviation sector on transactional (including aviation finance), regulatory and dispute resolution issues. He also represents aviation clients in contacts with public authorities, including in administrative proceedings and administrative litigation.

Maciej also acts for other clients in various commercial disputes before state courts and arbitration courts, especially in complex and cross-border matters. He also advises on questions of insurance and reinsurance.  

He joined Wardyński & Partners in 2012.
